PRICING
Pricing is shown in NZ Dollars and includes GST (Goods and Services Tax). We reserve the right to amend or correct prices without notice when needed. If this occurs after you have placed an order we will contact you before processing your order to confirm whether you still wish to the transaction to be completed.
PRIVACY
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you make an online purchase, or subscribe to our promotional email and newsletters, you may choose to give us basic information about yourself. This is necessary for us to process your order and promotional information more efficiently and provide a higher level of customer service.
When you visit our website, we may collect more information including, your internet service provider’s address, the name of a web page directing you, your clicks and activity on our site. This information helps us understand how to make our website more user friendly.
STORING YOUR INFORMATION
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information held is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant, not misleading and is used only for the purposes stated. We will ensure that security safeguards protect any information and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information will not be disclosed to any unauthorized person.
We will not disclose any personal information about you to other companies or individuals that are not entitled to obtain this information. We will not share your details with any other parties, with the exception of freight companies and our web service providers. Such companies and individuals will have access to specific information required to make deliveries or carry out work, but will not use your details for any other purposes.
SECURITY
We take security seriously and have taken steps to ensure that your personal information is secure.
We use SSL technology, which encrypts your information whenever we are receiving, and uploading communication from our site. Purchases through our site are made using Stripe and Afterpay, these use SSL secure online payment technology. When you make an online purchase a small padlock symbol will appear on your screen. This indicates that the SSL security system is operating throughout your transaction. This encrypting ensures that your payment information can not be read by, or altered by outside influences.
If at any stage you do not see the padlock symbol or are unsure about your security, please do not hesitate to contact us.
UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
You may at any time obtain confirmation from us to whether or not Cycled holds any personal information about you. You may also request a copy of this information, and have the right to update or cancel this information held by us. You can make changes to your personal information by either logging into the site, or by using the Contact Us page on our website.
REMOVING YOUR NAME FROM OUR MAILING LIST
It is necessary for you to register your details with us in order to use our services such as making online purchases, product warranty information, or receiving promotional material. However you have the right to choose not to receive promotional emails or material from us. When you register your email address with us we may give you the option of receiving email announcements about products, offers and promotions from us. We only email you if you want us to. We do not send unsolicited emails and we do not disclose your email address to third parties.
Any promotional email message that we send includes an email address to which you can reply. If at any time you decide that you do not want to receive our emails, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailer or email. You can also let us know that you wish to be removed from our mailing list by using the Contact Us page on our website, or in writing to Cycled, Kensington Ave, Petone, Lower Hutt 5012. This will remove your email address from our mailing list and if requested your personal information from our database. If you unsubscribe you will still receive emails from us specifically related to any online orders that you have placed or place in the future.
PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES AND FEEDBACK
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will inform you by posting this on our site. Once posted, the new policy will be effective immediately, replacing previous policy. We welcome your feedback to help us improve our policies and practice. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
New, unused items in their original packaging* with tags, can be returned within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or credit; valid for 12 months after date of issue. We work hard to make sure that you're happy with your purchase, but we can't offer a refund simply because of a change in mind. If you've decided that you don't want the item, we can offer you a credit.
If the situation arises where we do process a refund for an item/s we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% to cover the cost of time, shipping and non-refundable credit card processing fees.
*Excludes clearance items. See below.
CLEARANCE ITEMS
Items marked as on clearance, or end of line cannot be returned or exchanged.
PRE-ORDERED ITEMS
Pre-Ordered items can be cancelled for a full refund at anytime providing this has not already been dispatched or sent. This excludes items on special order which cannot be cancelled. You'll need to get in touch with us and we can advise you of the steps.
DAMAGED GOODS
All goods are checked before leaving Cycled to ensure their quality, however, it's your responsibility to check the goods when they arrive before signing for them and if damaged bringing it to the attention of the courier company at the time of delivery. Where damage has occurred you'll need to take a photo of the damage and report this to us within 48 hours so we can take the appropriate steps with the courier company and remedy this for you.
FAULTY & DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Our warranty policy covers all products for the specified period given by the manufacture from the date of purchase. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurred as a result of an accident, misuse, and wear and tear are not covered by the warranty. Wherever possible we will endeavor to repair any faulty item first, or when not possible replace the goods to you at no charge. If the item is not available due to supply we will advise you of this and replace the item with the closest possible substitute. When making a warranty claim you will need to contact us first so that we can advise you of the appropriate steps to take.
In all cases, Cycled follows and works with the 'Consumer Guarantees Act 1993' and 'Fair Trading Act 1986'.
INCORRECT ORDERS
If your order arrives incorrect then you will need to reach out to us as soon as possible so we can put it right.
HOW TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE
In all cases you'll need to contact us first with some details on your order. Once we've established a solution, you can send the new, unused item to our address below with the 'Return Order' paperwork. Please note: the cost of freight, both for returning the item and sending any replacement, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Please ensure that your parcel is returned via insured and tracked mail or courier. We will not accept any delivery forwarding or cash on delivery for returned products. We do not accept any liability for damage or loss occurred in the return of your product to us.
ALL OUR USED BIKES COME WITH WARRANTY
AND A FREE SERVICE
Bikes with condition scale 5, 6, 7 come with 12 months warranty and one free basic level service.
Bikes with condition scale 8, 9, 10 come with 24 months warranty and one free mid level service.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
Normal wear and tear, buckled wheels and punctures.
Corrosion
Improper maintenance
Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold.
Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Any warranty work must be completed by us at our cycled Petone workshop unless both parties agree on a 3rd party bike workshop if not based in Wellington region.
