I have spent 30+ years wrenching on bikes — from the Petone Bluebird Cycles shop in the ’90s to a career as a professional mechanic. — and that’s the expertise behind every service, overhaul, tune-up and detailed job.

XS Specialized Camber in for its yearly pre summer service.
Super cool XS Camber all set for summer. Frame strip down, clean and degrease. Fork lower leg service, rear hub service, bottom bracket service, headset service. New Yaban s10s DHA Chromium Carbide hardened chain, and new Jagwire Pro LR2 disc rotors. Tune up, check over - all ready to go!
Trek X-Caliber in for some well worthwhile upgrades.
Trek X-Cal in for a big refresh with a Shimano Deore 1 x 11 speed drivetrain installed, replacing the tried 2 x 9 speed Alivio set up. Add a fork lower leg service, bottom bracket service, rear hub service and a new KS Rage-i Dropper Seatpost from $299 with a KS Dropper Seat Post Remote Westy 2.0 $74.89. This X-Cal is smiling!!

The refurbished used bikes all have a 6 - 10 condition scale on each, giving a clear guide on what to expect.

1994 Kona Cinder Cone complete refurbishment.
Beautiful 94 Cinder Cone all ready to be added to our retro display. Built up with Shimano LX 3 x 7 speed groupset also from 94. Kool stop Eagle 2 Canti pads, Araya RM17 rims, Panaracer re run tyres, Sugino crankset, Marzocchi XC51 fork. Stunner!
1993 Giant ALM-1 with Suntour XC Expert group.
Very little use Giant ALM-1 from 1993 all restored up and added into our retro display. Factory spec with Suntour XC Expert 3 x 8 micro drive groupset - a big deal at the time! Lovely mid level bike completed out with Campy rims wrapped in re run Panaracer tyres.
